Aim
To make zither playing as easy as possible particularly for the beginner by choosing tuneful melodies, believing that once a beginner feels good playing a simple arrangement well, the confidence and fun will lead to curiosity and the adventure to learn more challenging pieces.

The first album 20 Great Zither Duets came about almost by chance. It does have easy pieces like Bearger Kapellen Menuet and Rokoko Waltzer; other pieces are a bit more challenging.

The new album Great Folksongs from Around the World was a more planned production featuring a selection of folksongs that Johanna and Ilse enjoy singing and playing.

The zither melodies have been written in the easiest possible keys with chord symbols and lyrics. The backing tracks have been recorded by professional musicians in precise metronome tempo, with an authentic feel for the musical styles of the different countries.
